The Pankey Institute was founded in honor of L.D. Pankey, a dentist who pioneered a better way to treat patients and practice dentistry. Dr. Pankey's philosophy was a guiding force for the L.D. Pankey Dental Foundation, which was created over 50 years ago.

In 2020, the organization embarked on a project to re-print Dr. Pankey's book, which had been out of print for decades. I worked alongside the original author to re-typeset and format the book, drawing inspiration from the original book cover's design while adding modern elements to make it more accessible for today's readership. The book was met with widespread acclaim from the dental community and still serves as one of the most prominent books on dentistry even 40 years later.
